Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex cases involving vulnerable adults and children
  • Supervise and mentor junior social workers
  • Lead multi-agency safeguarding meetings
  • Conduct assessments and risk evaluations
  • Prepare court reports and give evidence
  • Champion service improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • BSW or MSW degree plus Social Work England registration
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualifying social work experience
  • Knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004 or Care Act 2014
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Resilient with ability to manage stress effectively
  • Driving licence required for home visits
