About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them achieve their recovery goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients with mental health conditions
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care
  • Monitor and document patient progress and behaviour
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Attend training sessions on mental health awareness
  • Implement care plans in line with patient needs

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Previous experience in mental health support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Compassionate approach with strong empathy
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
